SLU Grads Embrace Yearlong Mission of Service
Alumni join two Jesuit Volunteer Corps groups
Some Saint Louis University alumni are giving up a year of their lives and giving themselves over to the Jesuit mission of service.

Five recent SLU grads are joining the newly merged Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC), while another six have committed to serving with the sister organization JVC Northwest.

The alumni have embarked on a year or more of full-time service that will take them all over the United States and to a couple of foreign countries. A complete list of new SLU members of the JVC organizations follows below.

On-air radio personality, Laurie Mac of K-HITS 96, will light the Cupples House Christmas tree and serve as the hostess of the preview reception for Holiday Rooms in Bloom, sponsored by The St. Louis Florists Network. Carolers from the SLU music program will perform songs of the holiday season, and the holiday season will officially begin at the gorgeous mansion on West Pine.
