Zika: Fact, Fiction, and Tips for Prevention
How is Zika transmitted? How do I know if I have Zika – what are the symptoms? How is it diagnosed? And most importantly, how do I protect myself against Zika?
There’s a lot of information – and misinformation – floating around about Zika. Clear up the confusion at our upcoming Zika symposium.
A panel of SLU faculty experts from the Center for Vaccine Development, College for Public Health and Social Justice, and Department of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology will present on the facts about Zika, SLU’s efforts to identify a vaccine and diagnostic tests, and tips for prevention as the hot summer months begin. A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion.
