Craft Talk with Michael Chabon

 

 

As part of the celebrations honoring this year’s St. Louis Literary Award and SLU’s Campus Read Series, author Michael Chabon, this year’s award recipient, will join the SLU community and moderator, Nancy Bell for a discussion about the craft of writing and reflections on his work.

Nancy Bell is a producer, director, performer, and writer, with a thirty-year career working at theatres all over the country in all those different capacities, as well as in television and film. In St. Louis, she is best known as the playwright of the beloved Shakespeare in the Streets plays produced by the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival since 2012, for which work she is the recipient of the St. Louis Visionary Award for Outstanding Arts Professional. She is the Director of the Theatre Program at Saint Louis University and a complete fool for a great story. 

The event will be held virtually on Friday, April 16 at 1 p.m. CDT. Capacity for this event is limited, please register only one user per household.
